Bank Indonesia is again serving new money exchange for Lebaran 2025. This year, Rupiah money exchange orders are made online through the PINTAR BI website.
The following is the new money exchange schedule for Lebaran 2025:
- March 9, 2025 starting at 09.00 WIB, for the exchange period March 10-16, 2025.
- March 16, 2025 starting at 09.00 WIB, for the exchange period March 17-23, 2025
- March 23, 2025 starting at 09.00 WIB, for the redemption period of March 24-27, 2025.
Here's how to exchange new money for Lebaran 2025
Reservations for the exchange of Rupiah bills for Lebaran 2025 can be made through the web-based PINTAR application or on the website https://pintar.bi.go.id Here's how.
- Open the PINTAR website https://pintar.bi.go.id/
- Click on the menu 'Exchange Rupiah through mobile cash'
- Then, 'Select Province' as the location to exchange new money
- After that, click 'View Location' to see the nearest exchange location
- Specify the date and time of the exchange, then click 'Select'
- Enter the customer's data, such as KTP/NIK number, full name, phone number, and email address. Click Continue
- Next, fill in the number of Rupiah notes or pieces to be exchanged according to the exchange limit.
- Checklist the statement box, then click 'Order'
- After completing the order, the PINTAR site will display the order code
- Save proof of booking. You can download proof of booking by clicking 'Download Proof of Booking'
- Bring the proof of booking along with the original ID card to the mobile cash officer when exchanging new money.
