He earned Bachelor’s Degree of Economics majoring Accounting from Universitas Jayabaya in 1978 and continued his education in accounting on professional level as Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) at Emile Woolfe, London, United Kingdom.
He worked in England for more than 17 years with the last position as Financial Controller at Balfour Kilpatrick Ltd, London. Then he joined PT Trakindo Utama in 1998 as Financial Controller and appointed as Director in 2001 – 2015.
Currently, he is also serving as Commissioner of PT Trakindo Utama since May 2015.

Started his career as Senior Staff at PT Bina Asih Management Consulting (1987-1990), PT Bunas Finance Indonesia with the latest position as Assistant Manager Credit Analyst (1990 - 1996) and joined with the Company since 1996 until appointed as Director (2002–2012). In addition, He was also appointed as Director at PT Tunas Inti Abadi, a subsidiary of PT Reswara (2007-2012) and Commissioner at PT Cipta Krida Bahari, a group of PT ABM Investama, Tbk. (2005-2010). Currently, he is also serving as Director of PT Tiara Marga Trakindo and Commissioner of PT Mahadana Dasha Utama.

His career experiences was previously at PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk with the latest position as Director of Commercial Banking and Sharia Banking (2008-2014). He has served as President Commissioner of PT Niaga Sekuritas (2001-2002), Chairman of the Pension Fund Supervisory Board of PT Bank Niaga (2004- 2008), President Commissioner of PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (2010- 2011), Senior Advisor of the Government Investment Center – Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia (2014- 2016), and as Independent Commissioner of PT Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (2014 2021).
Currently, he is also serving as Independent Commissioner of PT Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk.
