Tangerang—The largest and most comprehensive automotive exhibition in Indonesia, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2024), officially opens to the public on Thursday, July 18, 2024, until Sunday, July 28, 2024, located at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, Banten.
This year's GIIAS exhibition is a collaboration of trusted brands to create understanding and education for the public about the latest technology and future technology of motor vehicles that will compete in Indonesia. GIIAS 2024 was participated by 55 automotive brands, with 30 passenger vehicle brands, 4 commercial vehicle brands, and 20 motorcycle brands. and several car accessories and equipment components also enlivened this year's GIIAS with a total of 120 brands.
Beside of dozens of world-class motor vehicle brands participating in GIIAS 2024, there’s a few brand that steal the show such as, BAIC, BYD, GAC Aion, Jetour, VinFast. Three Auto Body Manufacture brands are also present at GIIAS 2024, namely Adiputro, Laksana and Tentrem.
To access the exhibition area, visitors are charged an on the spot ticket rate of IDR 75 thousand on weekdays and IDR 125 thousand on weekends. Online tickets are sold for IDR 50,000 on weekdays and IDR 100,000 on weekends.After being held at ICE BSD, the next GIIAS exhibition will also be held on August 28 to September 1, 2024 at Grand City Convex, Surabaya. A similar event will also be held in Bandung on September 25-29, 2024. A month after that, GIIAS will also be present in Semarang on October 23-27, 2024.
