Gaikindo released the latest list of car sales data for 2024. In January-December, total car sales in wholesales were recorded at 365,723 units, down 13.9% year-on-year (YoY) from the same period in 2023 of 1,005,802 units. Meanwhile, retail sales also fell 10.9% YoY to 889,680 units in the 12-month period of 2024, compared to 998,059 units in the same period of 2023.
Of the 10 best-selling brands in 2024, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) leads the car market, while Honda car sales overtake Mitsubishi Motors and Suzuki. Here are the details of the 10 best-selling car brands in Indonesia throughout 2024:

4. MITSUBISHI MOTORS - 72,217 Units
